Welcome to my first ever weekly link-up! Looking back over some of my old posts, I realized that I tend to keep it pretty casual on Wednesdays. So I thought: why not start a weekly link-up?
I originally wanted to wear heels (my shoe of choice) but heels didn't really make this outfit seem too casual. But I guess compared to a cocktail dress it would be pretty casual, heels or not.
I actually wanted to wear black pants but somehow the whole look was just off. Do you ever mentally put an outfit together and it looks fabulous but then once you put it on it looks terrible? That's what happened here. My boys were already waiting in the car (with my hubby!) so I felt frantic trying to decide what to wear. Jeans are always a safe choice.
You want to know the best way to make your legs look long and slim? It isn't by wearing flats with skinny jeans! Sheesh, I don't have the longest legs in the world but they aren't as stumpy as they appear in these pictures. I think that is why I always opt for heels.
